Objective
The National Hockey League (NHL) wanted to provide a special recognition gift for the 130 suite holders of the new NHL hockey team - the Minnesota Wild. The recognition gift needed to directly symbolize hockey and have a high-perceived value.
Strategy
Crystal D created a regulation-size, clear crystal Hockey Puck on Black Base. The award emulated the look and feel of a regulation hockey puck. It was hand-etched with the Minnesota Wild logo and mounted on a stunning black glass base. The name of the presenting organization and the inaugural season dates were added to the base.

As avid hockey fans, each suite holder has placed the beautiful crystal hockey puck in a highly visiable location so that others can appreciate its beauty.
